Lecture: “First Moves in the Game"
The introductory lecture “First Moves in the Game” is an excellent opportunity to learn how to play the organizational game and win!
In this lecture, we invite female participants to examine a new perspective on the workplace, to evaluate the obstacles, challenges and mistakes they encounter at work, and to understand the organizational rules of the game. Participants will obtain practical skills to help them move up, become players and climb higher and faster in their careers.
This is not a confidence building lecture for women! We target women who are strong professionals who excel in their fields and want to learn how to move up. Our clients are women with leadership potential, mid and senior level managers.
The lecture is suitable for small or large groups, within a single organization or from several different organizations.

During the consultancy process, we will identify the beliefs, behaviors and obstacles that prevent female employees and managers from advancing in an organization. The consultancy process will include examining the specific obstacles to change, setting tailored goals, exercises and reviewing the new model based on Moveup’s concept of the organizational game.
In the consultancy sessions, we will utilize know-how and tools from Moveup, communication, diplomacy, and management consultancy.
International Women’s Day
International Women’s Day is an important opportunity to raise awareness about gender equality and promoting women in society. Moveup offers lectures and experiential and practical workshops for men and women in organizations, such as: the lecture “First Moves in the Game”, “First Moves in the Game for Men” – men are very influential, firstly because most senior managers in the workplace today are men, and they have an opportunity to make a mark and bring about cultural and organizational change. We need male managers who will create a culture based on real gender diversity – a climate where women and men have equal chances to progress to management positions.
Lecture for Managers: “Gender Awareness in Management”
Why aren’t there enough women in leadership positions? Is gender transparent? Which factors impact decision-making? Why gender equality pays, and why it matters to you.
We would like to believe that the workplace is equal and progress does not depend on gender, but reality and data prove otherwise. In 2019, women in Israel and throughout the world are still a minority in the leadership of companies and organizations. Moveup aims to change this reality!
In this lecture, we will examine why the leadership gap is so great between men and women. What are: the gender-related rules of the game in an organization, our thought-processes, the shortcuts we take in decision-making and how they impact the promotion process, and the role of male managers in promoting gender diversity in leadership roles in an organization.
Equality between women and men is important not just from a moral standpoint. It is essential for organizations that want to succeed in the long term. Studies show that the more women are involved in decision-making positions, the greater the financial profitability of the organization. For example, one study shows a 15% increase in the profitability of companies that increased the percentage of female managers. Additional study.
Managers have immense influence and they can lead cultural and organizational change.
